Learning roadmap
The main steps from a borrowed Siemens phone in 2007 to shipping AI. Most of the journey, not every detail.
2005–2007
The Spark
Nokia 1100 & 1600 (learned)Mobile Games (learned)Waptrick.com (learned)First Curiosity (learned)First played games on a Nokia 1100. Our family's first mobile was a Nokia 1600, bought in 2005, where I played the Bounce game. Then I played downloaded games on my cousin's Siemens phone and wondered how the games and the websites behind them were made.
2007–2009
The Dream
Gaming (learned)Want to Build Websites (learned)Want to Build Games (learned)Mostly playing games, but the idea stuck: one day I would build my own website and my own games.
2009
My First Smartphone
Nokia N70 (learned)Symbian Games (learned)Exploring (learned)Got a Nokia N70, my own smartphone at last. Played many Symbian games like Sky Force, Robocop, and Platypus, and started exploring what the phone could really do.
2009
First Code
Basic HTML Tags (learned)Basic CSS (learned)MyWebs (learned)XtGem (learned)Wapka (learned)Built my first sites on hosted builders, pushing past their limits with raw markup. HTML tags and some basic CSS, practiced right on the phone.
2011
Building Through School
Site Builders (learned)SSC Exams (learned)Kept building sites right through SSC exam season. Couldn't stop tinkering even with national exams in front of me.
2012
Ethical Hacking & Security Curiosity
Web Security (learned)Exploits (learned)Defense (learned)The Bangladesh–India cyber war pulled me into security. Started reading about exploits, defense, and how systems break.
Late 2013
Fundamentals at W3Schools
Basic HTML (learned)Basic CSS (learned)Basic PHP (learned)After HSC ended I bought my first computer, a Dell N4050 Core i5 laptop, and spent time on w3schools.com, exploring and practicing more fundamentals. I didn't really understand the languages yet, but I learned enough to use them and build working websites. Deep understanding came later.
2014–2018
University · CSE
C (learned)Java (learned)HTML (learned)CSS (learned)JavaScript (learned)PHP (learned)SQL (learned)MySQL (learned)REST APIs (learned)Android Apps (learned)Unity 3D Basics (learned)Computer Science Fundamentals (learned)Daffodil International University. Where most of the foundation came from. The self-taught years made the core concepts click fast. Built 20+ mobile apps, two rewarded by the university. At this stage I built real world web applications and developed some games, the exact things I was dreaming about back in 2007-2009.
2016–2020
Freelance Years
WordPress (learned)Client Work (learned)Fiverr (learned)Upwork (learned)Fiverr Level 2 seller (first order within two days) and Upwork Top Rated. Worked with 500+ clients worldwide. Real clients, real deadlines.
